Miphoria · Inventory Ledger current stock & physical-count discrepancy comparison

Remaining pieces per SKU, right now — one clean row per SKU. Live stock is what Shopify currently shows available; Status flags anything that needs attention. Sold (last 2mo) is a quick demand signal — high movers get flagged "hot", SKUs with stock on hand but nothing sold recently get flagged "dead stock".

Compare a starting physical count against an ending one, using Shopify's own sold/returned orders in between to calculate what SHOULD be on hand — then see exactly where it doesn't match, in the same colour x size grid as the rest of the ledger. Add a count below (upload a sheet, cross-check it, save), pick a Start and an End snapshot. If either count wasn't taken exactly on the date you want to compare, roll it to a clean reference date: forward-track the start count to a later date, or backtrack the end count to an earlier date (e.g. start counted on the 28th, forward-tracked to the 1st; end counted on the 5th, backtracked back to the 1st) — either way the comparison lines up to the same clean period, like a calendar month.

"Track ... to" moves that count to any other date, forward or backward — whichever direction the date you pick is relative to the actual count date — using Shopify's sold/returned orders in between. Use it to line up a count that wasn't taken exactly on the date you want to compare.
